When you stay in the guest rooms at Whiskey Hill Store, we are inviting you into our home. Literally.
In creating the residence, not only did we work closely with our architect during the design phase, but we also hand-crafted much of the finish work, and all of the design elements ourselves. We wanted to build a comfortable, modern home, with all the character and charm of the 1920s craftsman bungalow school that it is a part of.
When thinking of our guests and their needs, we tried to include thoughtful touches as much as possible to make a stay here relaxing, cozy, and peaceful.
About our Mountainview Suite
Our Mountainview Suite is graced with custom woodwork, reclaimed old-growth Douglas Fir doors, and revitalized vintage and antique furnishings, complete with an old-fashioned lock and skeleton key. The bathroom shelves are reclaimed from the prior residence and the shower has our own custom-created hand-poured epoxy walls.
Named for the surprise view of three Northwest mountains – St. Helens, Hood, and Jefferson. This room is spacious and includes a coffee nook filled with everything you need for a hot drink so you can curl up on a lazy morning and enjoy the quiet of the country and the views of the mountains and adjoining farmland.
NOTE: Our rooms are not well suited for small children.
