ABOUT THE PROPERTY

  • No pets are allowed.  If you have a certified service animal, please let us know when booking.
  • Our entire property is a non-smoking environment.
  • Whiskey Hill Store is open Monday-Friday 6:30 am-4 pm (winter) and 5 pm (Spring-Fall). Saturday hours are 8-3, year-round. We are closed Sundays.  We have a Maker’s Market every Saturday in April and a Community Market the first Saturday of each month May-October.
  • From April-September our outside patio area will be open with seating. We also have yard games. Please feel free to use this space while staying with us. We ask that you do not venture past this area.
  • Onsite parking is free.

YOUR ARRIVAL

  • Guests use a private entrance which has a keyless entry.  You will be given the code and directions for the lock on the day of your arrival. We make every effort to greet our guests when they arrive, but it isn’t required and doesn’t always happen.
  • There are 17 stairs to get up to the guest rooms. Guests need to be able to navigate these safely with their luggage.
  • The upstairs hall has beautiful, reclaimed Douglas Fir flooring and antique doors, which tend to make the space echo.  Please be mindful of other guests when coming and going and keep talking and noise to a minimum.  Each room has a sound dampener to place against the door to help with this.

ABOUT THE ROOMS

  • Our guest rooms are not suitable for small children.
  • Because we are in the country and many guests are out and about in muddy areas, we ask everyone to remove their shoes at the bottom of the stairs. You may leave your shoes there or carry them upstairs with you.
  • We have two upstairs guest rooms, both located in our residence which is attached to Whiskey Hill Store.  The stairway and hall are shared spaces. We make every effort to give guests privacy and a quiet stay.
  • Your room key is an antique-style skeleton key. It will be in your room when you arrive and is needed to lock your door inside and outside.  The Sunset Room door can be a little tricky.  From the inside, the door needs to be pushed in for the key to work.  From the outside, simply pull on the door handle for the key to turn. There is a $50 replacement fee if a key is lost.
  • Each room has its own mini-split heating and cooling unit along with a fan.
  • There is a tiny refrigerator in each room which will have bottles of water for your stay.  Our Mountainview Room is equipped with a coffee bar.
  • We have dedicated guest WiFi.

If you are making a reservation for someone else, we need a phone number for the guest.

ADDITIONAL GUEST RESPONSIBILIITES
Any spills need to be reported immediately and we will need access to your room to clean.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • Key placement is $50.
  • The cleaning fee for smoking is $200.
  • Any property damage will be charged to the card used to pay for the reservation.
