When you stay in the guest rooms at Whiskey Hill Store, we are inviting you into our home. Literally.

In creating the residence, not only did we work closely with our architect during the design phase, but we also hand-crafted much of the finish work, and all of the design elements ourselves. We wanted to build a comfortable, modern home, with all the character and charm of the 1920s craftsman bungalow school that it is a part of.

When thinking of our guests and their needs, we tried to include thoughtful touches as much as possible to make a stay here relaxing, cozy, and peaceful.

About our Sunset Room

Our Sunset Room was named for the warm glow in the evening. Antique schoolhouse lights and nightstands created from a vintage writing desk echo the old schoolhouse-café next door. Re-claimed old-growth Douglas Fir doors, complete with an old-fashioned lock and skeleton key, harken back to a simpler, more peaceful time.

A collection of vintage needlework graces the walls, and the private bath has our custom-poured epoxy shower walls. This room affords all of our guests a relaxing and restful experience.

NOTE: Our rooms are not well suited for small children.
